Ex-smokers say quitting is tough, call for robust cessation ecosystem

Reports on an AVI-organised webinar where panelists from Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore and Pune shared personal experiences of how hard quitting smoking unaided (“cold turkey”) really is, and argued for a more robust cessation ecosystem — including wider access to nicotine replacement and vaping — pointing out that India’s ENDS ban leaves smokers fewer cessation routes than the UK, US or Canada.
