Consumers pan Centre's advisory asking states to ban e-cigarettes

AVI press release (via Brands2Life) · 29 August 2018

AVI’s first reaction to the Union Health Ministry’s 28 August 2018 advisory urging states to ban e-cigarettes, questioning why tobacco cigarettes weren’t targeted instead, and disputing the claim that vaping increases teen smoking by citing a 60,000-teen Public Health England survey. Samrat Chowdhery also contests claims about heavy-metal content in e-vapour and notes the government cited only the 30 nations that have banned ENDS while omitting the 65 that regulate them.
