Lewis C, Fairbrother H, Gillespie D · Public health in practice (Oxford, England), 2026

e-cigarette

Young people in England identified multiple interconnected factors that facilitate vape access, including weak age verification at shops, attractive product design, aggressive marketing, and widespread social acceptance. They believed stronger retail and marketing controls were needed, but viewed vapes primarily as smoking-cessation tools rather than recreational products.

Relevance to India: None stated.
