Self-Perceived Knowledge, Attitudes, Personal Use, and Willingness to Recommend Nicotine Pouches and Tobacco Harm Reduction Strategies Among Physicians in Saudi Arabia: A Cross-Sectional Study.
A survey of 325 Saudi physicians found that roughly three-quarters were aware of tobacco harm reduction, but fewer than half felt knowledgeable about it. About two-thirds believed harm reduction strategies could help smokers quit, and 61% said they would recommend these approaches. Doctors' willingness to recommend harm reduction was strongest among those with better knowledge, positive views, and awareness of specific nicotine pouch products.
