A US study tracking nicotine pouch use among teenagers found adoption rose from 0.8% in 2021 to 1.6% by 2023, then stabilized around 1.7% in 2025. Most pouch users also use other tobacco products, though roughly 1 in 10 report no prior nicotine product experience.
