Adolescents are less likely to attempt to quit cannabis than tobacco: The potential role of lower risk perception.
A study of over 25,000 California adolescents found that fewer young people attempt to stop using cannabis (39%) compared to vaping (53%) or smoking cigarettes (48%). The lower quit-attempt rate for cannabis may be linked to young people viewing it as less risky than tobacco products.
