AVI release opposing Punjab’s ENDS ban, issued from Chandigarh. Notes Punjab’s own tobacco-use rate rose from 11.7% (2010) to 13.4% (2017) despite existing controls, and quotes Mumbai physician Dr Rohan Sequeira and Delhi advocate Dr Farrukh Khan, who offered pro bono legal services to challenge state ENDS bans. Notes that ENDS bans had by this point been challenged in two states, Karnataka and Jammu & Kashmir, “with a legal challenge in Tamil Nadu about to be filed” — corroborating the timeline on this site’s Litigation page.
